DUTY RINK TASKS

Players on rink duty need to begin by 12.15 pm
to be ready for the match to commence at 1.00 pm

 
BEFORE THE GAME
 
   Flag                                                    Raise the Flag.
                                                              ( stored in the Selectors Room, filing cabinet, 2nd drawer )
 

   Scoreboards                                       Reset all boards to zero.

 
   Seats                                                  Wipe clean all outside seating.
 
   Mats / Jacks / Pegs / Wind Flags      Distribute to the allocated rinks from the trolleys.
 

   Blue Portable Water Coolers            Add ice then fill with water from the outside water cooler

                                                              ( The blue coolers are stored in the kitchen,
                                                                and the ice is in icecream tubs in the kitchen freezer
                                                                 Refill the tubs and return to the freezer ).

 

   Tables                                                Wipe the tables on the Verandah.                                                               Set the tables with rink numbers and money pouches
 
   Tea and Coffee Station                     Set with cups and spoons,  tea and coffee.
 
 
AFTER THE GAME
 
   Flag                                                    Lower the Flag and return it to the Selectors Room.
 
   Mats / Jacks / Pegs / Wind Flags       Retrieve from the allocated rinks
                                                              ( Leave rink numbers in place )
 
   Portable Water Coolers                     Return the water coolers to the kitchen.
 
   Tables                                                Clear and wipe the tables, return rink numbers and money pouches
                                                              Stack the chairs on the Verandah.
 
   Tea / Coffee Station                          Gather up cups and spoons ready for the dishwasher
