A word from the President………………Happening!
Did you know that…….
Picture this……..It’s been a long week, Friday has rolled around again and the last thing you want to do is to cook, let alone sit in some stuffy restaurant. Wouldn’t it be perfect if you could have a high quality meal in a familiar place, surrounded by people you know, and sip down the odd quiet bevie? I know what your thinking, sounds too good to be true, the perfect start to any weekend. Well, brace yourself……Starting on Friday the 11th of July meals are going to be available at your very own Bowls Club! Renowned culinary aficionado and all round nice guy, Scott Nicholls, will be preparing two course meals for your enjoyment. These will continue initially on a fortnightly basis.
The First course will be an immaculately blended and prepared Soup served with Crusty Bread. The exact type of soup may differ from week to week, so feel free to ask the variety closer to the date.
The Main Course will be a choice of:
Scott’s Meaty Meat.
300+ gram Porterhouse Steak, marinated in a secret combination of flavors, and served with a Baked Potato and Coleslaw, with a choice of Mushroom or Black Pepper Gravy.
Or
Nicholls Style Prawn Symphony.
Prawns cooked to perfection and served in a Mustard Garlic Cream with Steamed Rice.
# A Vegetarian option will be available, but may vary from week to week. More details available closer to the first date.
At this point you must be thinking that this onslaught of epicurean delights must be incredibly expensive. This is where you would be wrong! It costs only $15 per head!!!!!! An option for children will also be available for a lesser amount.
If you want to be a part of these evenings you must register your name in advance and nominate your choice of main. Bookings for meals will close at 5:00 on the Wednesday prior, no exceptions will be made due to food preparation requirements.
Meals will be served from 6:00pm. All are welcome, so feel free to bring your family or friends.
To book or for further information call the club on 8331 0062.
